We offer a range of treatments that can target wrinkles and improve the overall appearance of the skin. If you know the treatment you require then please book an appointment with initial consultation. If you are unsure of which treatment would be best for you or would like a package tailored to you then please book a Skin Rejuvenation consultation. This is chargeable at £30 but will be deducted from your first treatment.

At Nuuskinrevival we are committed to delivering the results you are looking for. For this reason, we are more than happy to tailor packages that will target your specific areas of concern.

HIFU

Unlike lasers, which penetrate the skin from the outside in, the Hifu Cool procedure bypasses the surface of the skin to deliver targeted energy into the structural tissues and muscles. Hifu stimulates collagen in the deeper dermal layers. Ultrasound energy causes micro injury to the tissue. As the tissue heals, it increases collagen production and the fibres organise and shorten creating a tightening effect on the tissue.

What to expect at your treatment:

A thin layer of gel is applied to the skin. The hand piece is then moved around the face in circular motion delivering shots of concentrated ultrasound to the treatment area. A 3mm head is used to stimulate collagen. This process is then repeated using a 1.5mm handpiece to target surface wrinkles.

The treatment is totally pain free. Side effects can be a slight reddening of the skin which will disappear with a couple of hours.

Radio Frequency

RF (radiofrequency) is generally used in combination with HIFU Cool to target smaller areas such as eye bags and surface wrinkles. This treatment stimulates collagen, improves skin appearance and tightens the skin.

What to expect at your treatment:

A thin layer of gel is applied to the skin. The smaller handpiece is used to concentrate on the eye sockets moving across the treatment area. Treatment time is 30-60 minutes dependent on the treatment area and is totally painless. Side effects can be a slight reddening of the skin which will subside within a couple of hours.

IPL

IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light, also known as photo rejuvenation, a technology that uses short pulses of broad-spectrum laser light directed over the skin’s surface to boost collagen production. Collagen is a protein that creates connective tissue and gives skin a firm, healthy appearance.

IPL is the most popular options for non-invasive, anti-aging treatments. IPL can be a fantastic therapy for erasing mild sun damage, freckles, wrinkles and getting rid of (or greatly reducing) irregular pigmentation and light brown spots on the face, neck and chest. Another benefit of IPL therapy is that it can be used in combination with other facial skin procedures, such as chemical peels and microdermabrasion. These treatments target the surface layer of skin, while IPL reaches the deeper layers of skin.

IPL was among the first photo-rejuvenation technologies and to this day IPL is used to treat common many problems such as:

·    Rosacea (redness and visible blood vessels in the face)

·    Enlarged pores (IPL can help eliminate large pores and reduce the appearance of skin acne)

·    Acne and acne scars

·    Thread Vein (also known as spider veins due to the web-like appearance)

·    Melasma (brown or grey patches, usually appearing on the face)

·    Hyperpigmentation (darker skin patches caused by an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin colour)

·    Vascular and pigmented lesions

·    Uneven skin tone and texture

·    Fine lines and wrinkles

What to expect at your treatment:

A thin layer of gel is applied to the skin. A handheld device is pressed and passed over your skin, sending pulses of broad spectrum light into the deep layers of the skin. Each session will last only 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the skin area being treated. There’s no downtime for IPL therapy and discomfort is minimal.

Results can vary from client to client. We schedule your therapy appointments about a month apart because skin cells turn over every 30 days or so. This gives your skin time to recover and produce naturally skin-smoothing collagen, which is one of the great advantages of IPL therapy. Most patients will require 4 to 6 sessions, but everyone is different. After that, some people may need occasional maintenance treatments to keep their skin looking young and healthy. Results should be most noticeable after a week from your first session. You’ll see the greatest results after 3 to 6 months if you do a series of IPL treatments spaced a month apart for each session.
